The TRAVELMAT® KR Softbox transforms your trunk into a protected and comfortable space for your dog. Individually made to fit your vehicle’s make, model and trunk configuration, it provides your dog with a comfortable place to travel while reliably protecting your trunk from dirt, moisture, dog hair and scratches.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a very large dog or one that scratches heavily in the car? Then we recommend our TRAVELMAT® KR in the Xtreme design. It features a special contract-grade faux leather used in public transport applications – extremely durable, highly abrasion-resistant and developed for maximum wear and tear.
For additional protection, you can also use our optional cosy cover. It is simply pulled over the sleeping surface, providing extra protection for the faux leather underneath against scratches and dirt while creating an especially soft and comfortable place for your dog to lie.
- Fixed: The bumper protection flap is permanently sewn to the dog bed and is always ready to use.
- Flex Zip-Off: The flap can be easily removed with a zipper whenever you do not need it.
- Zip Locked: Additional side zippers allow the flap to be secured upright, protecting the interior trim when the tailgate is closed.
However, if you do not want to use the full width of the trunk—for example, if you only want the TRAVELMAT® to occupy 80% so that there is still room for luggage or other items—we recommend the optional Basefix feature.
With this option, two hook-side fastening strips are fitted to the underside of the base, one on the right and one on the left. This helps prevent the Softbox from sliding or moving while driving or when your dog jumps into the vehicle.
