The roof can be easily removed with a zipper. This turns the protected cave into an open favourite spot in no time. Optionally, you can complement the bed with a matching blanket and backrest — for even more comfort and flexibility.

Which size is right for your dog?
To help your dog truly relax, the size should suit their body shape and sleeping habits. Measure your dog while standing, from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail, and also pay attention to how they sleep. If they like to curl up, the dog cave can be a little more compact. If they lie more loosely or move around a lot while sleeping, the larger version is usually the better choice.

Frequently asked questions
Depending on the size, it is suitable for small, medium and large dogs. Dogs who love a quiet spot or prefer to lie down in a slightly sheltered area usually feel very much at home in the Shell Microcord.
Added to this is the flexible roof: close it up to create a sheltered den, or remove it to create an open resting area.
The result is a doghouse that offers protection, looks attractive and retains its shape even with everyday use.
This is particularly handy if your dog prefers more security at times and more freedom at others, depending on how they’re feeling that day.
The Visco version offers a more supportive, pressure-relieving sleeping surface with orthopaedic comfort. It is particularly suitable for older dogs, larger dogs, or dogs that need a bed that is gentle on their joints.
As the Shell Microcord can be completely taken apart, it is particularly easy to clean and maintain.
This makes the dog bed particularly durable: if a part needs replacing after prolonged use, there is no need to buy a completely new bed straight away.
It’s best to measure your dog from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail, and also take note of how it sleeps. If it likes to curl up, a more compact size may be a good fit. If it lies more loosely or moves around a lot in its sleep, the larger version is usually more comfortable.
This makes it suitable not only as a cosy spot, but also as a fully-fledged place to sleep and rest during the day.
